Psychotherapy for Meaningful Change
Compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy for adults and couples navigating life's challenges, relationships and emotional well-being.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
A Place to Understand, Heal and Move Forward
Psychotherapy can provide a supportive and collaborative setting for understanding the experiences, emotions, relationships and patterns that may be making life more difficult.
People seek therapy for many different reasons. You may be struggling with anxiety or depression, adjusting to a significant change or loss, working through painful experiences, experiencing difficulties in an important relationship, or simply recognizing that something in your life needs to change.
My goal is to help you better understand what is happening, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical strategies for moving toward greater emotional well-being, healthier relationships and a more satisfying life.
EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING
Anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, emotional regulation, and other concerns that can interfere with enjoying life and functioning well.
RELATIONSHIPS
Communication difficulties, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, relationship stress, and patterns that make it difficult to relate well to the people who matter most.
LIFE CHANGES & PERSONAL GROWTH
Major transitions, difficult decisions, changing roles, personal challenges, and a desire to better understand yourself and make meaningful changes in your life.
Individual Psychotherapy
Understanding what’s getting in the way—and finding a healthier way forward.
People come to psychotherapy for many reasons. Sometimes the problem is clear—persistent anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, overwhelming stress or a difficult life transition. At other times, you may simply recognize that the way you are thinking, feeling or responding is making it harder to live the life you want.
Individual psychotherapy provides an opportunity to better understand the thoughts, emotions, experiences and patterns contributing to your concerns. Together, we work to identify what may be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies for creating meaningful and lasting change.
Treatment is tailored to your individual needs, concerns and goals. Together, we will identify priorities for therapy and develop an approach designed to help you better understand what is getting in the way and make meaningful, sustainable changes.

Areas We May Address
Couples Psychotherapy
Understanding the patterns between you—and building a healthier way of relating.
Even strong relationships can become caught in patterns of conflict, disconnection or misunderstanding. Over time, couples may find themselves having the same arguments, withdrawing from one another, struggling to communicate effectively or feeling increasingly distant.
Couples psychotherapy provides a setting to slow these patterns down, better understand what is happening between you and develop healthier ways of communicating and responding to one another.
My approach helps couples identify the interaction patterns that contribute to distress while strengthening emotional connection, communication, empathy and constructive problem-solving. Treatment draws from evidence-based approaches to couples therapy and is tailored to the needs, concerns and goals of each couple.

Faith-Integrated Psychotherapy
For clients who desire it, I can integrate Christian faith and spiritual perspectives into psychotherapy in ways that are consistent with your beliefs, values and treatment goals.
Faith integration is always collaborative and client-directed. It may include exploring how your faith informs the concerns you are addressing, drawing upon relevant spiritual beliefs and practices, or considering how psychological and spiritual perspectives can work together as part of the therapeutic process.
Faith integration is never required. Clients of all faith backgrounds—or no religious affiliation—are welcomed and respected.
Integrating faith when it is important to you.
What You Can Expect
A professional relationship that is collaborative, practical and focused on you.
Beginning psychotherapy can feel uncertain, whether this is your first experience with therapy or you have worked with a therapist before. My goal is to provide an environment where you can speak openly, feel understood and work at a pace that is appropriate for you.
Our work begins by developing a clear understanding of what brings you to therapy, what you would like to change and what may be getting in the way. Together, we will identify meaningful goals and develop a treatment approach tailored to your needs.
You can expect me to be engaged and collaborative. I will listen carefully and seek to understand your experience, while also offering observations, asking thoughtful questions and introducing practical strategies when they may be helpful. Psychotherapy is not simply about talking through problems—it is about developing greater understanding and using that understanding to create meaningful change.
As therapy progresses, we will periodically consider what is helping, where you may still feel stuck and whether our approach needs to be adjusted. The goal is for therapy to be purposeful, useful and responsive to what you need.
